Membership Services

Objective: To increase the overall general membership in the chamber by recruiting new members, retaining existing members through membership activities and visitation.

Community Development Committee

Objective: To identify the Chamber as the driving force for community development in Richmond County.

Education Committee

Objective: To be the vehicle to bring business and education systems together. Promotes Business/education partnership programs in both schools and local community college. 

Business & Industry Committee

Objective: To support growth and development in Richmond County and ensure that the needs of existing businesses are met.

Governmental Affairs Committee

Objective: To improve communication with governmental leaders regarding the needs and interests of the Chamber’s membership.

Ambassadors Committee

The Chamber’s welcoming and goodwill committee, Ambassadors assist members in obtaining maximum value from their Chamber investment by making contact with other Chamber members to relay information, discover concerns, and facilitate programs and events, also educates and welcomes new members to the Chamber.

Ambassadors host new member orientations, ribbon cuttings and grand openings for Chamber members. In addition, the Ambassadors support the Business After Hours event (hosted by monthly sponsor). This monthly networking program of the Chamber is held at member’s place of business to gain knowledge about the hosting business and create membership networking opportunities. Ambassadors also serve as greeters at all Chamber sponsored events.

Keep Richmond County Beautiful

The mission of Keep Richmond County Beautiful is to prevent litter, promote recycling and conservation, clean up and beautify our community through action, education, awareness and by fostering stewardship.

Leadership Richmond

Objective:  To develop, plan, coordinate and produce a quality leadership development program that will assist individuals in their ongoing development and produce the future leaders of our community.
